Every inch of Gaye's home is filled with cool collections of ART. On her walls she puts art and collections together to form a wall collages... Unique to Gayes' vision of the world.
Recently we lost our beloved LuLu. There was a big ass gaping hole in our hearts..... Enter ZoeE....AKA Sassy. She is a 7 month old rescue. We never had a pup before. She is a Chow mix. Quickly discovered that our fences will not keep her in. The other part of her mix must be an equestrian jumper. So this weekend we have fortified our fences so she can use the doggy door. Potty training is going slowly. We love her!
First, I knew Marti as an art car artist. She was brave enough to purchase a brand new car and convert into an Art Car. She is my hero. Then she showed up on the art show scene with felted work that is every bit as whimsical-wonderful as her car. Marti is an artist thru and thru. She walks the walk.
Next weekend November 17-18, 2012, I will be with Marti at the Holiday Art Show, Lexington Center, Lexington, KY. This show is worth a road trip!!!
I have been interested in ART all of my life. I studied art in college and opened a porcelain restoration business in Louisville which combined my interest in art with my appreciation and love of detail. I have always been a collector of many things, amassing hundreds of thousands of buttons, trinkets, charms, bijoux, beads, found objects, and all sorts of fun things. I currently produce a line of whimsical art jewelry which I wholesale and retail across the country. I've been married to Sam for 20 plus years and we have 3 rescued Black Chow Chow's. Bear, KeLe, and Zoee my children with FUR! I will be sharing my various collections, art shows, artists, friends etc. And any thing else I think is cool will be in this Blog.
