Let it Snow / Taco Abbott

Finally...we got some snow!  Taco Abbott sports the latest snow wear.  Taco is a rescue.  He won the lottery getting Susan as a mom. 

We took Bear and Zoee to Deam Lake in Southern Indiana for a hike in the snow.  Had my camera expecting to get 100's of adorable pictures.  The dogs were a black blur running and playing in the snow.  A great day was had by all!!!!

Our nephews, Michael's boys, are in college now.  They have grown up to be such nice young men.  Michael and Tammy are great parents. 

Speaking of great parents, Lonnie and Shirley are the best!  They spoil all of us rotten each year!

Favorite Snowmen / Robbie Moriarty's collection

The great Blizzard of 2012.  It just didn't happen in Louisville.  All we got was a dusting.  I wanted Bear and Zoee to frolic in the snow.  I'll let you know when it happens. 

Bear and Zoee Post Holday Lunch

Zoee (foreground) and Bear  resting after their first party.  Both could be seen in designer white fur holiday collars which dazzled our guests. This was the first holdiay party that Zoee and Bear were allowed to attend. 

Taco Abbott and Buddy Epler-Milburn sent gifts.  The pups welcomed gourmet biscuits, rawhides, and other assorted treats.  Taco also choose a really cute toy for all his canine pals.

After the inital jumping on our guests....all dog lovers, Zoee settled down and was adorable the rest of the day.  Bear did get a bit territorial over a rawhide but I got that way over a cookie so who could blame him. 

Holiday Lunch

Fred, Kent's bud from Las Vegas is back in town!  While my house was still semi-clean from the Studio Open House....I decided to host a lunch in his honor.  The Cafe catered the Tomato Dill soup, pimento cheese sandwiches, and choc. chip cookies.  Whole Foods provided the pasta salad and cole slaw.  I'm feeling generous so I can share all my culinary secrets. A good time was had by all. 

Zoee's First Holiday

Since Zoee has brought puppy play time into our home.  All my pics of Bear and Zoee together are action shots.  This is Zoee resting for a minute.  Wearing her holiday fur collar.  Will continue to try to capture Bear and Zoee together, both looking cute and not a blur. 

Home Studio Open House

OK once a year I clean up my studio and host an Open House.  Monday and Tuesday December 10 and 11 are the dates for the big event.  Stop in for Door Prizes, Discounts, and some Holiday Cheer!!!!

New Addition to our Family

Recently we lost our beloved LuLu. There was a big ass gaping hole in our hearts..... Enter ZoeE....AKA Sassy.  She is a 7 month old rescue.  We never had a pup before.  She is a Chow mix.  Quickly discovered that our fences will not keep her in.  The other part of her mix must be an equestrian jumper.  So this weekend we have fortified our fences so she can use the doggy door.  Potty training is going slowly.  We love her!

First, I knew Marti as an art car artist.  She was brave enough to purchase a brand new car and convert into an Art Car.  She is my hero.  Then she showed up on the art show scene with felted work that is every bit as whimsical-wonderful as her car.  Marti is an artist thru and thru. She walks the walk.

Next weekend November 17-18, 2012, I will be with Marti at the Holiday Art Show, Lexington Center, Lexington, KY.  This show is worth a road trip!!!

Missing In Action / LuLu

Hey Peeps soooooo sorry I have been missing for the past 6 months.  I'm not computer savvy so when the format changed on my blog....I just didn't have the energy to change with it.   Then the summer of sadness began and I didn't have anything to write. 

As I know...blogging heals me.  So here it goes.  Yesterday, Our beloved LuLu passed from this world to the next leaving a gaping hole in our hearts and home.  LuLu has been cherished all 11 years that she resided with us.  I know that there is another girl dog waiting to be adopted by us.  Right now the loss is too BIG!

Indiana Artisan Marketplace

This is the second year for Indiana Artisan Marketplace. The market is desgined after our very own Kentucky Craft Market. So the Indiana folks invited Kentucky Artists to be part of their event.

Great excuse to visit my friend and artist Jenny Elkins. Also, always love seeing my Indy peeps. And my Kentucky peeps....Deb Chenault and Jamison Brumm will both be there with their FAB lines of art jewelry.

Last week my buddy Jenny Elkins was involved in a photo shoot for BeSalon in Indianapolis, Indiana. Brian E. Layton is her good friend and owner of BeSalon. Jenny says he is a master with the curling iron and make up brush and Kristi Swift took the photo and according to Jenny is a master in photoshop. I don't agree. Any one who knows Jenny aleady knows about her beauty, humor, talent, and sense of style.
